Effective July 12, 2024, Director Coleman will be closing his chapter as Director for the DHS Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Over the years, Director Coleman has demonstrated exemplary leadership, building robust partnerships with faith-based and community organizations, and playing a crucial role in disaster response and preparedness. His dedication has earned him numerous accolades, including FEMA Administrator’s Awards and being named Meta-Leader of the Year by the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative at Harvard University.
Director Coleman, your contributions to emergency management and community engagement have been invaluable. Your dedication to combating systemic racism and ensuring that historically disadvantaged communities receive fair access to resources, has set a high standard for all of us.
