We’re excited to make our final speaker session announcement, the “Equity In Homeownership” discussion. In the face of high interest rates, low supply of affordable housing, and transportation issues, how does one create wealth via homeownership in these economic conditions? We’ll host a conversation with legislators and housing advocates about the state of the housing stock in Massachusetts, and how new policies like the Affordable Homes Act are advancing equity in homeownership in Massachusetts.

This panel will feature Representative Andy X. Vargas, Emilio Dorcely of Urban Edge, and Chrystal Kornegay of MassHousing, with BECMA alum Courtney Brunson of the Greater Boston Partnership to Close the Racial Wealth Gap serving as the panel’s moderator.
